Two former Grambling State University star quarterbacks James “Shack” Harris and Doug Williams have merged their vast talents to comprise the Black College Football Hall of Fame. The BCFHOF is currently having a permenaent wing installed in Canton, OH within the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
During their NFL careers, Harris became the first Black quarterback to start and earn MVP honors in the Pro Bowl (1974) while Williams became the first Black signal caller to start and win a Super Bowl along with the MVP honors in SB XXII in a 42-10 thrashing of Denver.
